I’m pregnant. Can I use your products?

**Disclaimer: When in doubt, its always safe to consult with a licensed gynaecologist anything concerning your pregnancy. **

Our Glow Exfoliant contains Salicylic Acid, it’s better to be cautious when using this ingredient when pregnant. Although not widely proven, some studies suggest that it can potentially cause birth defects and should be avoided while you are pregnant.

While you may be anxious to get rid of your pregnancy acne, many anti-acne ingredients such as salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, retinoids cannot used by pregnant ladies.

Although salicylic acid is used topically and only small dosage has been used, it would be better to check with your Gynaecologist.

We suggest to switch to Clarifying Serum as your spot corrector while you’re pregnant.

The rest of our products are generally safe to use during your pregnancy.  Our Calming Cleanser is a good choice that’s safe to use during pregnancy. When you are pregnant, an increase in hormones causes your skin to produce more sebum. This increased sebum leads to oiliness that eventually clogs your pores, leading to inflammation and breakouts. Our Hydrating serum can get your oiliness in check.

What if I accidentally use Glow Exfoliant?

The salicylic acid concentration is not that high and is applied topically on skin, so it shouldn’t be much of a problem if accidentally used.
